I don’t want to change the world, I just want to change someone’s world; an expression often used by Ali McEwen, CEO and founder of Baby On Board Apparel, a Toronto based maternity clothing company. Having taught children in Taiwan, Cambodia and Haiti she understands the impact that a kind heart and a positive influence can have on a person’s life – not only to the person accepting the help but also the person providing it.

Since the inception of Baby On Board Apparel, Ali has planned on developing a charity to benefit women in need with young children. Ali has a focus on helping people through leadership and mentoring and believes it is important this is achieved abroad as well as locally.

When the opportunity arose to partner with Watch to help young mothers in need in the City of Toronto, Ali knew this would align with her philanthropic goals. Two percent of overall sales and ten percent of online sales from www.babyonboardapparel.com will be donated to Watch programs that support young mothers.
